The blouse patch collection was made for the wedding week where every ceremony asks for a slightly different neckline. Instead of stitching a whole new blouse, you place one of our patches on an existing plain silk one — and it reads as brand new.
Where to place it
Centre of the back yoke is the safest. For a fan-pleated neckline, place it slightly higher than the shoulder line. For a scoop neck, keep it just below the collarbone.
How to fix it
Most of our patches are backed with a peel-and-stick fabric adhesive for a temporary hold, but a few loose stitches on the corners will let the blouse survive a dance floor. For long-term wear, hand-stitch the edge to the blouse — the beadwork will not tolerate a machine.
Care
Never dry-clean a patched blouse. Steam the patch from the reverse side, on the coolest setting.
